About the project

Built to make DFO character data understandable

DFO Gang is an independent, fan-made analysis service for Dungeon Fighter Online Global. It turns public Neople character data into equipment breakdowns, comparable scores, rankings, build statistics, and simulation tools.

Why it exists

A raw character response can tell you which items are equipped, but it does not answer the questions players usually have: how two builds compare, which conditional setup is stronger, whether fame and damage tell the same story, or how common a choice is within a class. DFO Gang was built to answer those questions in one place.

The service is designed for comparison and investigation. A score is a model, not a promise about training-room damage, and every report should be read together with its inputs, sample size, and update date.

What is original here

Character names, classes, items, and status data originate from the official Neople Open API. DFO Gang's added value is its own parsing and analysis layer: equipment effects are normalized into a common stat model, conditional combinations are tested, dealer and buffer scores are calculated separately, and class-level trends are derived from stored public-character snapshots.

The score model, ranking presentation, history tracking, statistics aggregation, and equipment simulator are DFO Gang features. They are not official Neople ratings.

Data, independence, and corrections

  • DFO Gang is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Neople Inc.
  • Public game data can be delayed or unavailable when the official API changes or is under maintenance.
  • Rankings and reports show their own update information; they should not be assumed to be live to the second.
  • Community posts are user-generated and are separate from DFO Gang's calculated reports.
  • No class, item, or player receives a paid adjustment to a score or ranking.

Found a calculation error or stale mapping? Include the character, server, affected item or skill, and the result you expected. Reports can be posted in the community.
